As the storybook setting for storybook-type love, the Autumn trees around glowed gold.
We say it all the time— wedding photographers love love. We’re surrounded by the purest, most genuine forms of it daily, and if you think this might fill us with really high “relationship goals,” you’re right. Very right.
Sam and Elise don’t remind me of any other couple I’ve ever had the honor of befriending. They’re entirely unique. Entirely themselves. In the way they communicate, in their banter, in the way they walk beside each other, and in the way they are so comfortable being together that they hardly remember there’s anyone else around. At one moment, I asked the two of them to stare into each other’s eyes and guess what color they were each thinking of, and, true story, they both guessed correctly.
That’s indication of an amazing connection between two people, if you ask me.
Sam and Elise’s engagement session near Olbrich Gardens was a magical display of their incredibly deep love for each other and the explosion of color from an Autumn sunset.
