Spending some time in Miami is now on my to-do list every January from here on out. While the Midwest was having trouble breathing though the ice shards in the air, Florida was relishing in perfect weeks of 70 degrees and sunshine. My cameras and I frolicked around like the warmth gave us a blast of new life. I was living my best life in Miami, my friends.
To add to my love of this place, I met Cody and Adriana here! Their engagement session was filled with sunshine, laughter, and all of the stunning tropical vibes of a Florida Key. (Key Biscayne. The Key so far southeast that my cell reception and data access literally vanished the day I was scouting by myself, stranding me without access to my Lyft app. The Key where, if you were sitting on the park bench, you could have seen me trotting around the island with my phone high in the air for about 20 minutes, pleading with the sky. The Key of fond memories.)
These two could not be any cuter together— and just LOOK at their sweet puppy, Chia! I’m not so secretly pulling for her to be part of their wedding. 🙂 It’s just 100% necessary.
Needless to say, this was the perfect way to spend a Friday morning just outside of Miami, and I am SO in love with the way Cody and Adriana look at each other. They’re also so incredibly sweet that they offered to give me a ride off of Key Biscayne after hearing my cell reception story! Bless them. What pals. I can hardly wait for their destination wedding later this year!
