My favorite thing about Milwaukee is definitely its connection to Lake Michigan. I grew up around the Great Lakes, and I love each of them for their different characteristics! Superior is majestic. Erie is calm. Michigan is welcoming. As someone who often wishes she was by the sea, I’m so thankful to live close to these lakes, and I’m always excited to explore their shores with clients who share my love for the water!
Ian proposed to Josie at Big Bay Park just outside of Milwaukee on his birthday, because that was the only way he could convince her to go to that particular park without raising her suspicions. (He had originally planned on asking her on the jumbotron at a Milwaukee Bucks game, but decided against it, and later found out that Josie would have hated the idea. Haha!) Because their engagement began on Lake Michigan, they wanted to head back to the water for their engagement session, and we decided on the South Shore Park and Yacht Club.
It was such a wonderful evening with these two. The sunset looked like it had been painted with pastels, the weather was warm (finally!), and Lake Michigan was bluer than blue. They were more than happy to talk about pets, sports, and movies, which means, of course, that I’ll love them forever. And just look at how cute they are!
Their wedding in Downtown Madison is just a few months away, and I can’t wait to see these two married. In the meantime, I’ll be over here adoring these images from their Milwaukee Engagement Session!
